How it works

You don't have to change a thing.

Three simple steps, then clean books and a plain-English read every month. No new software to learn, no habits to overhaul.

1

I connect to your bank, once

A quick, read-only setup connects your business checking and card to your books, so transactions flow in automatically. I can see the numbers. I can never move your money. If you would rather hand me statements, that works too.

2

Keep receipts however you do

Shoebox, glovebox, a drawer, a photo on your phone. I work from your bank feed, so most months you send me nothing at all. When I cannot tell what something was, I ask, once a month, in one short list, and the answer is usually a sentence. If you would rather send everything anyway, send it and I will file it.

3

Get a clear picture back

On a set date each month, your books are reconciled and closed, and you get a plain-English read: what happened, what changed, what is working, and the one or two moves worth your attention.

I can see your numbers. I can never touch your money.
Read-only access, whether you connect a bank or hand me statements.
What you get every month

A close, and a conversation.

Most bookkeeping stops at clean records. Mine starts there. Every month you get reconciled books and a written read that tells you what the numbers actually mean for the business, in language you do not need an accounting degree to follow.

  • Reconciled checking and card, closed on a set date
  • A plain-English read on the month
  • Margin and cash tracked, not just categories
  • The one or two moves worth your attention
  • Clean books your CPA will thank you for

I look at 90 days of your books and statements, then show you where your money is actually going and the biggest opportunities I see, whether or not you ever hire me. No cost, no commitment. All I need is a few months of bank and card statements.
